As the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, we are sharing information about the steps we’ve taken in response to the crisis.
Our number one priority is to ensure the health of communities and provide seamless operations of our business in order to support our clients, many of whom are on the front lines of delivering vital healthcare services.
First, we want our clients and partners to know that the primary and secondary data centers that host our Aerial and CCMS/VITAL technology solutions have little to no risk of impact. Our private cloud hosting has multiple levels of redundancy and can be (and often is) managed entirely remotely. We and our partners are ensuring appropriate engineering, vendor and security coverage during this time.
Given the strength of our business continuity plans and our preparedness and virtual workforce equipped with tools and protocol, the Medecision team is confident that your Aerial and CCMS/VITAL solutions will remain uninterrupted by the COVID-19 situation.
On Friday, March 13, we were fully prepared to work remotely and began implementing a work-from-home approach on Monday, March 16. We are equipped with virtual private network (VPN) technology that can support over 600 concurrent connections to securely access our MPLS wide area network and our hosting environments.
Our entire workforce can work remotely with secure access to all of the applications and systems required to operate our business and serve our clients. Currently, we are monitoring information provided by the CDC and WHO and implementing common-sense routines, work-from-home recommendations, and the curbing of non-essential travel.
